Many years ago on a rainy Seattle afternoon, Anna saw an article in People Magazine about the first Gilda’s Club opening in New York City.  She was so intrigued by the family-focus and humor that went along with the cancer support community that she travelled to NYC to see it for herself.   Convinced that this wonderful program that was needed in Seattle, she spent the next few years pursuing her dream.  Gilda’s Club Seattle officially opened its red doors on March 7, 2002. They now have over 2,500 members and are always growing.
